Jaya Rami Reddy is presently working as Director of G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. He obtained B.E. in Civil Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 1968, M.E. (Hydraulic Engineering) and Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Warangal (presently National Institute of Technology, Warangal) in year 1970 and 1979 respectively. He has also authored two other books namely Stochastic Hydrology and Civil Engineering objective type both published by Laxmi Publications. He has vast experience in teaching and administration of Engineering Colleges. He is associated with number of professional organizations. He is the life fellow of Institute of Engineers (India), Life Member of Indian Association of Hydrologists, Life Member of Indian Water Resources Society, Life member of ISTE. He has guided several M.Tech. students and 3 Ph.D. students. He has published 20 research papers in National and International Journals in the area of Hydrology and Water Resources. He was recipient of 'Best Teacher Award' for the University teachers from Govt. of A.P. in 1994.
