The results from the United States National Crime and Justice Survey conducted in 1995 areanalyzed in this volume. The survey provided a comprehensive national assessment of attitudes, and the topics covered include: fear of crime; gun control; capital punishment; and juvenile crime. Using the data collected, distinguished criminologists report on the development and current status of public opinion on these issues.
