In Blame It On Me: A Real-Life Black Comedy, the dynamic father-son duo of Seshadri Reddy and Harish Reddy put a bouncy wodehousian spin on everyday Kafkaesque moments in contemporary India. Their writing bristles with wit and scathing satire as it tugs the reader through the familiar impedimenta of daily life in the world’s most vibrant democracy- not least the many run- ins with that red- taped whit elephant called the Indian bureaucracy. In their own words, the aim of this book “ is not to help you attain nirvana; rather, it is to present convincing evidence to motivate you, swing you into positive action, and make this world a better place.”
Author Biography
R seshadri Reddy, a Ceo in an Indian corporate company, is an engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. RHarish Reddy, a graduate in Computer Sciences from Arizona State Univerity, USA, is a computer professional presently based at San Francisco, USA. Contact: hreddy@gmail.com. The authors wish to inform ther readers thus: "Some of the inspiration for this book came from Kafka who wrote about a nightmarish, dehumanized world with its bureaucratic labyrienting, and totalitarian societies. The term 'Kafkaesque' has been described as ' marked by a senseless, disorienting, often menacing complexity’ and ‘marked by surreal distortion and often a sense of impending danger’. Blame it on Me certainly fits the description of the Kafkaesque.”
