Author Biography
M. Kay DuPont has been speaking and writing for almost 40 years. She offers conference programs and training in business relationships, image, success skills, and productive communications. She specializes in helping people build better relationships so productivity and team harmony are higher and more effective. She works with organizations that need to work together better and with individuals who want an edge in the marketplace. Her company is called Your Writing Partner, because that’s part of what she does partners with speakers, new authors, and companies to help with marketing brochures, websites, and books! She has written four other business books and a historical novel. She has also been published in many magazines over her 40-year writing career and has won awards in every category of writing – from news articles to children’s stories. Kay’s other books include Writing for BIG Results, Don’t Let Your Participles Dangle in Public!, Writing for the College-Bound Student, and Handling Diversity in the Workplace. Her historical novel, Loving Mr. Lincoln: The Personal Diaries of Mary Todd Lincoln, was nominated for the Georgia Author of the Year Debut Novel and the Lincoln Group of NY’s Annual Achievement Award. Kay has won many awards for her speaking and training and has earned the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association and the Certified Professional Development Trainer designation from the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction.
