Author Biography
Dr. R. K. Saxena has been teaching this subject in Sri Venkateshwara College, University of Delhi since 1974. A Gold Medallist in M Sc from B.I.T.S. Pilani, he earned his doctorate from University of Delhi in Cell and Molecular biology. The author is a member of Indian Society of Cell Biology and has to his credit a number of research publications in the field. Dr. Sumitra Saxena, at present is a senior reader at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, University of Delhi where she has been teaching for the last 22 years. Her research interests have involved studies on the Polytene chromosomes in chromomeres and she has to her credit several research publications in the field of cell and molecular biology.
