Plant pathogens cause immense harm to crop plants by reducing the production and quality of our food grains. Popularization of this notion is essential to link it with common farmers and students of agriculture. With this aim in view this dictionary was prepared to enumerate the causes and number of plant pathogens that destroy or adversely affect our food crops growing programmes both to the farmers and students of agriculture alike. This type of work makes it easier to have the knowledge of plant diseases. The harm caused by them and the means and ways to control the causal organisms of the diseases. This step will certainly make crop production not a gamble but the something that usual quite high production of crops.

He is the recipient of several awards and medals including Dr. Rajendra Prasad Puraskar of ICAR, New Delhi, Indira Gandhi Puraskar of the ministry of Environment and Rajiv Gandhi Gyan Vigyan Puraskar by the Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India.
