Not that the seductive call has not always been around, at least since Raymond Callahan described it at the beginning of the last century. But somehow in the past, both professors and future educational thinkers could take the metaphors with a grain of salt, and while the rhetoric was in the air, the service ethic was still the norm of the day. There is now a fullscale assault on the service ethic of the profession. The new language is finding its way into circulation and is represented in this Encyclopedia as well. This Encyclopaedia has located a few major problems for the teachers in teaching the revised educational thinkers syllabus. No agency has taken up the responsibility of collecting information from different sources, so as to know as to how is the revised educational thinkers syllabus being implemented and what difficulties and problems are being encountered by the teachers concerned.
