He has one year post doctoral research experience working as CSIR Research Associate in department of chemistry, Utkal University. His areas of interest are solute- solvent interaction, solid waste management, biofuel etc. He has published more than fifteen papers in national and international journals of repute. He also contributes popular scientific articles for newspapers and presents talks in All India Radio, Cuttack. Dr. Senapati has been chosen for distinguished standing and has been conferred with an honorary appointment to the Research Board of Advisors by the American Biographical Institute. Dr. Senapati's biographical profile has been included in the 6th edition of Marquis who's Who in Science and Engineering of America. He is associated with many educational and research organizations. Dr. Senapati has been conferred with Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhabana Award as eminent educationist by Rajiv Gandhi Forum, Orissa affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi. At present Dr. Senapati is continuing as Professor of chemistry in NM Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar.
