    About The Author Andrew Curioso has been coding in PHP and MySQL for a decade and wrote the e-book Shortcut: Ajax with PHP5 for O'Reilly Media in 2007. His experience includes developing professional-grade PHP and MySQL based web-applications for MIT Lincoln Laboratory (part of Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and being at the ground-floor of the state-of-the-art web publishing platform Webon at Lycos. Andrew is an invitee to the exclusive Web 2.0 Summit and will be attending in October of 2009. Patrick Galbraith is a Principal Software Engineer at Lycos, adding new PHP and MySQL offerings for Tripod Users, switching remaining apps using Oracle to MySQL as well as other interesting projects. In his spare time, he maintains DBD::mysql, DBD::drizzle, FederatedX storage engine and the Memcached Functions for MySQL. He has just authored Developing Web Applications using Perl, Memcached, MySQL, and Apache for Wrox.
