Julian, Dick, and Anneare siblings and the three main characters of Five On A Treasure Island: 1. They go on unplanned holiday to their cousin Georgina’s house on Kirrin Islands. The island has an interesting history behind it: a boat carrying gold was shipwrecked at the island long before. The kids believe that the gold must have been kept in some secret place on the island, before the ship sank. They plan to find the gold, and a series of events lead them to the map, which has on it, the location of the treasure. The kids, along with their dog- Timmy, embark on the search for gold in the old dungeons on the island. Their adventure trip takes a serious turn when they realise that they are not the only ones behind the search. Enid Blyton, born on August 11, 1897, is of British origin. She is a renowned children’s writer with a huge reader base across the world. Her famous adventure and fantasy books include the Famous Five Series, The Five Find-Outers, and The Secret Seven Series. She passed away in 1968 at 71 years of age.
