About The Author Dr. Debapriya De obtained his B. Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur, Calcutta University in 1992 and M. Sc. from University College of Science of CSIR in Materials Science Centre, IIT Kharagpur in the year 1996. He obtained his Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering in 1999. He joined MCKV Institute of Engineering, Liluah, Howrah as a lecturer in Chemistry in 1999. He is presently working as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in the same institute. He is the visiting faculty of West Bengal University of Technology, Salt Lake, Kolkata. He has obtained Young Scientist Award from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India in 2002. He has published twenty research papers in reputed International Journals and authored one book. He is the reviewer of many International Journals. He has guided one Ph. D. student. Dr. Debasish De obtained his B. Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur, Calcutta University in 1993 and M. Sc. from Vidyasagar University in 1995. He joined as Senior Research Fellow of CSIR in Materials Science Centre, IIT Kharagpur in the year 1999. He obtained his Ph. D. in Polymer Science and Engineering in 2003. He joined as Research Associate in Materials Science Centre, IIT Kharagpur in the year 2003. In the year 2005 he joined as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in University of Twente, The Netherlands. He has published fifteen research papers in reputed International Journals. He has two Indian patents. During his two years of Post-Doctoral Research he has delivered lectures in more than ten International Symposium. He is a member of American Chemical Society. He worked as General Manager (Technical) in the Synthetic Molders Ltd., Kolkata. Presently he is working as a lecturer in Chemistry in Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
