Author Biography
Rupnarayan Bose began his banking career with the State Bank of India group. A major part of his career was spent with banks in India and overseas, handling international banking & international trade, treasury, and as head of several medium and large branches. He brings with him considerable experience in critical areas of commercial and international banking. R N Bose has lectured extensively in India and Nairobi on subjects relating to international and commercial banking, and has published a large number of articles in leading publications in India and in East Africa. His book Introduction to Documentary Credits - A Comprehensive Guide to Letters of Credit and UCP 500 is one of the most authoritative treatises on the subject. Currently, he is engaged in writing, training, and consultancy.
