Prem R. Chadha is anEngineering graduate with Honors from BITS Pilani in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering from the 1973 batch. He obtained his post-graduate degree in the year 1975 from IIT, New Delhi in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering. He joined All India Radio, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India through Engineering Services in 1975 where he was associated with the installation of Additional Studio Facility and TV Transmitter/Studios at Jalandhar. He joined Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) in the year 1976 where he is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. He has worked as H.O.D. (ECE) in Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (GGSIP University), Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Government of NCT of Delhi and Delhi College of Engineering. He has more than 34 years of experience in teaching various UG & PG courses in the fields of-electronic devices & circuits, digital communication & circuits, optical communication and engineering electro-magnetics. He has contributed a large number of technical papers in national and international conferences/journals. He has chaired several technical sessions in national/international conferences including a prestigious session in Beijing, China. He is theauthor of some well renowned books in the field of electronics & communication engineering. He has guided more than 200 post-graduate and under-graduate projects in the area of analog & digital communication, digital electronics & microprocessors, coding techniques, wireless networks, spread spectrum techniques and optical communication. He was awarded a sponsored project by the Ministry of H.R.D. (Department of Education), Govt. of India under Plan Scheme for Modernization & Removal of Obsolescence of Laboratories and Workshops. He received Best Citizen of India Award in 2006 by International Publishing House, New Delhi for laudable objective of excelling in the standards of teaching, research project guidance and development of laboratories in ECE at UG and PG level and also in interacting with faculty and students to generate/revive interest and awareness in the area of Electronics & Communication Engineering. He has been awarded life fellowships and memberships of several professional bodies including IEEE (USA), IETE, ISTE, Computer Society of India (CSI) and Institution of Engineers (IE) (India). His current interests include digital communication, optical communication, engineering electro-magnetics and other related areas in the field. Aditya Chadha completed his graduation in engineering in the year2002 form Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi. Soon after he joined the engineering division of Escorts Limited as Assistant Manager. He did his Master’s degree in 2005 in multi-disciplinary field Bio-engineering from the University of Oklahoma, U.S.A. He has worked in several prestigious companies including Cisco Systems, U.S.A. He is presently working as Senior Associate in Cognizant Technology Solutions, U.S.A. for the last about two years. His current interest includes mechatronics, electronics, bio-engineering and other related areas in the field. Saumya Chadha is an engineering graduate from Amity School of Engineering and Technology, G.G.S.I.P University. in the field of electronics and communication engineering. After the completion of his degree, he joined Birla Soft as a software engineer and worked there for about four year. He did his executive M.B.A. from I.M.I. New Delhi in the year 2010. Presently, he is working as senior executive-products & solutions in Newgen Software Technologies Limited, New Delhi and has been deputed to Cyprus. His current interests include electronic and communication systems, peoplesoft (H.R.M.S. and C.R.M.) and other related areas in the field.
