Author Biography
Napoleon Hill (1883-1970) was a highly successful and influential author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. He began his writing career at the age of 13 as a "mountain reporter" for small town newspapers and went on to become America's most beloved motivational author. His work stands as a monument to individual achievement and is the cornerstone of modern motivation. His most famous work, Think and Grow Rich (over 60 million copies sold/1 million copies sold annually), is the all time bestseller in the field. Hill's writings have been a major influence for successful authors such as Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hanson, Jack Canfield, Charlie "T" Jones, and Jeffery Gitomer, among others. Additionally, Hill established The Napoleon Hill Foundation (Wise, Virginia) as a nonprofit educational institution whose mission is to perpetuate his philosophy of leadership, self-motivation, and individual achievement.
