Gulliver's Travels, officially named 'Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World, in Four Parts, by Lemuel Gulliver, first a Surgeon, and then a Captain of several ships, is considered one of the best works of Jonathan Swift. Through this novel, Swift passed a satire on human nature. When it was first published in 1726, it immediately became a controversial work. It was after almost ten years that the book was published with the entire text that Swift had originally wanted it to have.
