    Indian Muslims in a whirlpool is a well researched book, which captures the essence of the author's lifelong quest for mainstreaming the Indian Muslims. It reflects, in brief, most of the prominent Indian Muslim related organisations and issues, which are linked with the Islamic revival movement. The author has tried to compile all the prominent issues that have a bearing on the communal conflict in the country. In the absence of any scope for reinterpretation of religion or democratic secular, scientific, industrial and modern society, the larger majority of Indian Muslims do not see beyond mosques and madrasas. Due to the assertive insistence of Islamic clerics on a separate Muslim identity, Indian Muslims have been suffering from a malady of hate and divisive politics of the ruling class. Initially, they became the victims of Muslim Indians who had converted them for their self-seeking interest and subsequently of the political class in their politics of vote arithmetic. The present book is an effort to discuss almost all the issues, which the Muslim Indians raised to misguide the Indian Muslims. The authentic quotes from prominent writers, in particular from those of Muslims, hope to stir the conscience of Muslim scholars for launching an intellectual jihad and free the Indian Muslims from the siege of Muslim Indians, which is the only answer to the Hindu-Muslim problem.
