C.K. Sharma, Ph.D., is a known figure in the field of Library and Information Science. He has served in this profession for forty years. He has worked as Assistant Librarian as well as Lecturer in the Ravishankar University; and Incharge University Librarian in the Agra University. He also served the same University as Reader and Head, Department of Library and Information Science. He is a Founder Head of Department of Library & Information Science of Agra University; IME, Sahibabad and M.M. Modi College, Modinagar. Furthermore, he has served as Director, UIMT, and Chief Proctor and Development Officer in the SRM Institute of Management and Technology, Modinagar. He is Founder President of Chhattisgarh Library Association. He is a life member of ILA and UPLA. Dr. Sharma has written twenty-seven books till date on Library & Information Science, General Studies, and History. His two books, Research Methodology and Historical Places of India are very popular. A.K. Sharma, M.Sc. (Zoology), M.Lib.Sc., Ph.D. (Lib. & Info. Sc.), is presently serving as Librarian at Shyam Lal College (Evening), University of Delhi. He served as Librarian for 18 years at M.M. Modi College, Modinagar. He has to his credit seven books of which Library Management, Library and Society and Reference Service deserve particular mention. He is life member of ILA & IASLIC.
