Now the time has come when no country in the world ever thinks of economics development in isolation. Self-sufficiency has no relevance in the strict sense. Inter-dependence of countries is a reality of time and ideology has only a little importance indecision making at macro level. Now there is no group of countries based on political or economic ideology. Inter and intra relations are need of every nation. It is really wonderful to see that ‘communist’ countries like Russia and China are becoming liberal very fast and the symbol of capitalism - the United States is forced to imposed controls on economic activities. It is because every country is only concerned with development and generation of money. Individual in general is busy in making efforts for increasing competitiveness, defeating others, getting the targets achieved, using every possible opportunity in self-interest and spreading the scope of concerned activities. Economic interests are at priority for governments and who are governed. Countries are establishing new relations, signing new agreements, making new friends, avoiding past happenings and inviting offers from other only for achieving higher rate of growth. The book ‘International Economics’ has been written focusing on repaid change coming in important economies of the world like China, Russia, India, Japan, the US etc., diverted and diversified economic and trade relations of India with such economies, need and importance of economic relation with Russia and China in the changed scenario, India’s interest in the development of Asian countries and tie-ups with fast up-coming developing countries like the UAE.

Prof. Man Chand Khandela is Director of the renowned Management Institute-Subodh Institute of Management & Career Studies, Jaipur, which is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
