She lives in Berkeley, CA. Grateful Dead drummer MICKEY HART has long been a student of music. Planet Drum, a group to which he belonged, was awarded the first-ever Grammy for Best World Music. Hart organized a percussion performance for the 1996 Olympic Games, setting the Guinness World Record for largest drum circle (4,504 drummers). Hart has authored 4 books and composed scores and soundtracks for a number of films.
