Author Biography
Susan M. Peik is an independent scholar and currently resides in Minneapolis. She studied history and theory of architecture at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, and has lectured in Europe and the Americas. At present, she is writing a book about Schinkel's Schweizerhaus on the Pfaueninsel in Berlin, and a book about Schinkel's critique of Baroque architecture and urban planning. She is the executive director of Friends of Schinkel.
