Mihr ose, an award-winning author and journalist, is a senior columnist for the Daily Telegraph, who spcializes in investigating sports stories, in particular sports business and politics. A journalist for over 25 years, he turned to his first love immediately after qualifying as a chartered accountant - he is a fellof of the Engligh Institute - and has worked for various newpapers and publications including being Editor of Pensions, Deputy Editor of Financial Weekly and City Features Editor of London Daily News. He was a contributor to the Sunday Times for 20 years, writing on foreign affairs, business, and then sports, editing the Inside Track column. Since march 1995 he has been with the Daily Telegraph and in 1998 won the inaugural award for the Sports Story of the Year. His previous books range from an award-winning histroy of Indian cricket to controversial biographies and busienss studies. His history of sports and politics in South Africa was the runner-up in the William hill Sports Book of the Year Award.
