As he/she gets ready ask them to match the colours of their clothes. “Let’s wear yellow today.” “Can you find your shirt with the yellow duck?” Visit Playgrounds regularly: Slides, seesaws, and merry go-rounds are great for physical development. Discuss the events of the day with your child: “First we eat breakfast. Then we go to school, then we will go to park.” This helps your child understand the sequence of events. Do plenty of Spinning, rocking and balancingexercises: These develop the co-ordination and balance center of the brain. Explore Nature: Flowers, grass, trees, beaches, clouds in the sky, let nature be your great teacher. Sing songs that rhyme, repeat words or have numbers in them: For example, Twinkle twinkle little star, one two, buckle my shoe. These songs reinforce patterns in the words and sounds, and are fun ways to practice language and maths skills.
