Every year, when the moon is in the eucalyptus trees, all the tigers in the country meet up to dance. They make a giant circle. Each tiger holds the tail of the tiger in front of him, and they dance in the light of the eucalyptus moon. But unfortunately for Teeho, he is deemed to be too young to join in. He stomps off - and runs into a friend who reminds him that he could do his own dance, and then no one could say there was a rule against it. So he practices and practices, and when the time comes, he begins:One step forward, one step back. A turn to the side and a flick of the tail. And repeat! It looks so much fun that all the older tigers are impressed, and they all start dancing Teeho's dance. He has earned his place in the Moondance.
