Author Biography
s Gulzar A prominent name in Bollywood, Gulzar has delivered lyrical gems in movies like Aandhi, Mausam, Angoor and Parichay. Well known in the Urdu community, Gulzar was born in Pakistan and started out with the Progressive Writers' Association. His career in the film industry has spanned over fifty years, and he’s donned many hats, including those of a script writer, director, and lyricist, while bagging National Awards for his lyrics and films. As a poet, he’s published a number of poems, short story collections, and a biography, Mirza Ghalib: A Biographical Scenario. He is also famous as a children’s writer. Pavan K. Varma Pavan K. Varma is a writer, diplomat, and a senior bureaucrat in the Indian Government. As a writer, he has authored many books on a range of topics like the social sciences, civic affairs and history.
