Author Biography
Michael Erbschloc is an information technology consultant, author, and educator. He has authored over 2,200 articles and dozens of reports that have guided technology decisions in the largest organization in the world. He has taught and developed curriculum at several universities including The University of Denver. Michael is currently the Vice President of Research for Computer Economics in Carlsbad, California, and internationally known technology think tank. He is also on the advisory board of the Comdex conference. Michael's research work and comments have appeared in Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, Investor's Business Daily, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Minneapolis Tribune, The Houston Post, San Jose Mercury News, San Diego Union-Tribune, The Miami Herald, Computer World, Information Week, PC Week, Software Magazine and dozens of other publications. He has been an active speaker at technology related conferences in North America and Europe and consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense, General Dynamics, Digital Equipment Corporation, Computer Sciences Corporation, EDS, IBM, and MCI. Hometown: Carlsbad, California John Vacca is an information technology consultant and internationally known author of over 25 books and more than 330 articles on Internet security, programming, systems development, rapid application development, multimedia and the Internet. John served as a configuration management specialist and the computer security official for Nasa's space station program (Freedom) and the International Space Station Program, from 1988 until his early retirement from Nasa in 1995.
