Author Biography
Sushma Arya, Principal, D.A.V. College for Girls, Yamuna Nagar (Haryana), has been teach-ing English at the postgraduate level for over two decades including three years as Reader at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She has maintained her interest in teaching and research and has supervised several research projects in the field of fiction studies. Her book of criticism on John Steinback was well received by establish-ed scholars of American literature. Dr Arya has earned, both for herself as well as her college, the reputation of being earnest. As an administrator and scholar, she is highly respected by all those who have known her extraordinary zeal for attaining excellence. Shalini Sikka is a Reader in the Department of English at Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi. She is the author of W. B. Yeats and the Upanishads and has published numerous articles and reviews of poetry in Indian and international literary jour- nals. She is the co-editor of School, Society, Nation: Popular Essays in Education.
