Dr. Sanjay Kumar graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, Karnataka and Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) in ORTHODONTICS And DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPEDIC from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, Karnataka, India.

He also passed Indian Board of Orthodontic Examination (IBO) and is presently designated as IBO (BE). He has worked as a senior lecturer in Vishnu Dental College and Hospital (Andhra Pradesh), Chattisgarh Dental College and Research Institute (Chattisgarh) and A.I.O.D.S. (Uttar Pradesh), India. He has won national and IDA level awards. He has also published few articles and papers in national conference of orthodontics.

He is a life member of Indian Orthodontic Society, Indian Red Cross Society, National Marfan Foundation, California, U.S.A. and Fellow of Academy of Manipal, Karnataka. He is trained in Diabetic Research Center and has done training-cum-workshop on diabetic care, control and prevention by DRC-WDF (WHO) PROJECT in Chennai. He has participated in many Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programmes and attended CLP training programme organized by Indian Society of Cleft Lip, Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies. He is clinically sound consultant orthodontic with expertise in the treatment of orthodontic part of CLP and fixed treatment by straight wire technique.

His dream is to popularize and establish orthodontic care as a special branch in the eastern part of the country.
