Author Biography
Keniz? Mourad was born of an Indian father and a Turkish mother and has spent most of her professional career at the French political magazine Le Nouvel Observateur for whom she covered the Iranian and Ethiopian revolutions, and the Lebanese civil war. Since turning her attention to novels including Regards from the Dead Princess, based on the true story of her mother, Selma an Ottoman princess and granddaughter of the last Sultan of Turkey.
