Author Biography
JON SILKIN is a Fellow of Poetry at the University of Leeds. He was born in London in 1930, and to date he has published ten collections of poetry. The most recent book is The Life of Metrical and Free Verse in Twentieth-Century Poetry. He has also edited with Jon Glover, The Penguin Book of First World War Prose.
