Description
The book Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence is based on the Pharmacy Council of India syllabus for B Pharm and D Pharm students. It presents the subject matter in a simple language for easy grasp of students. The Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940 and The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 have been dealt in detail and the other statues such as Poison Act, 1919, Insecticides Act, 1968, Shops and Establishment Act, 1960, etc. have been dealt with briefly. The book will be a guide to practicing pharmacists and also helpful to the students of pharmacy as well as all others associated with pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy practice.

Author Biography
TP Gopinathan had a distinguished career in the regulatory affairs. He was the Drugs Controller of Kerala state and served the central and state governments in many capacities. He was a member of many organizations such as: The Pharmacy Council of India, The Drugs Consultative Committee of the Government of India, Medical Plant Board, Govt. of Kerala, etc. At present he is a consultant to many pharmaceutical industries and sales outlets. He has a number of publications to his credit and is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Manipal College of Pharmacy (2004). Table of Contents 1.
