Description
Private International Law in India is an enigmatic subject spread over case law traditionally from England. In the law two decades case law on the subject has developed in our country also. For a long time there was a single text book on the subject. Recently another one has appeared. The present book is more of a comparative research into the inadequacies of the subject as compared with the law in Civil Code countries. Its uniqueness lies into bringing Private International Law from Civil Law/Civil Code countries into an Indian book for the first time. It is the authors humble opinion that Private International Law should be codified and eventually find it's rightful place in the country's Civil Code where it belongs in a systmatized legal order.
