Following the success of Mike Cole’s widely acclaimed Critical Race Theory and Education: a Marxist Response (2009), this new book by Cole extends Marxist analysis to include key concepts from the work of neo-Marxists Antonio Gramsci and Louis Althusser. Cole begins by addressing what is distinctive about a neo-Marxist analysis.
