: S. Deb S R Deb is Professor of Production Engineering at Jadavpur University, Calcutta. He has about 30 years of experience in the field and has conducted several short-term courses on Robotics, Automation, CNC and Computer Integrated Manufacturing. He was Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Intelligent Machines and Robots (CIMAR), University of Florida, Gainesville in 1984prior to which he underwent training in the operation and maintenance of robots at Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan. Professor Deb has presented a number of research papers at International Conferences and is a member of many working groups on `robotics? sponsored by the Government of India. Table of Content: 1.
