Author Biography
Dr. Warner M. Burch is Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center where he has been on the faculty in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism for over 32 years. He has interviewed and examined over 20,000 individuals with endocrine disease. The photos in this book are those of his clinic patients. He is known as the “doctor’s doctor,” and astute clinician/teacher, a consummate handyman, and an avid woodworker/craftsman. His favorite person is his wife of 42 years; his favorite book, the Bible; and a favorite past-time, playing hide-and-seek with his eleven grandchildren.
