About the Author Dr Vandana is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and has been teaching law for the past fifteen years. While criminal law and family law remain her major areas of teaching interests, she has done her doctoral research work on sexual violence against women. Being keenly interested in gender studies, she has delivered several lectures as visiting faculty for specialised courses and training programs focusing on gender issues, at the University of Delhi, other national institutions and NGOs. After completing a specialized course in law teaching from Cardiff University, UK, she has contributed as Project Co-ordinator to the cascading program in India on Law Teaching and Legal Research Skills???a joint effort of University of Delhi and Cardiff University in collaboration with the British Council, Delhi. She has written many articles in law journals of international repute.
