Many books on public speaking promise to turn shy talkers into impressively self- confident presenters. But Speaking Scared, Sounding Good is different. It provides you with proven techniques that will enable you to make it through any speech, no matter how nervous you may be. Peter Desberg is a practicing psychologist who has taught thousands of people, including high-profile celebrities to speak in front of groups. His techniques for proper concentration, self-relaxation, and setting achievable goals, among others, work—and work well. So, if the fear of public speaking has been holding you back personally or professionally, this book will guide you through the process, enabling you to successfully deliver any speech, anywhere.
