Textbook of Engineering Geology presents study of geology comprehensively from a civil engineering point of view. N Chenna Kesavulu was Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, College of Engineering, Hyderabad. He had been a brilliant scholar and topped all through his academic life from his schooling to his masters degree. He obtained his MSc (Geology) degree from Sri Venkateswara University , Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh and was awarded his PhD by IIT Bombay in 1977. With a professional/ teaching experience spanning over more than four decades, Professor Kesavulu is also a life member of Indian Society of Engineering Geology. He has also several published papers, in Indian journals, to his credit.
