"Murder in the Temple" plumbs the depths of villainy when two young sons are murdered by vengeful priests jealous of their father's power. The storylines are supplemented by box features on topics of special interest, such as how mummies were made, records were kept and tombs built.

Anita Ganeri is a well-known author of children's non-fiction books, covering a wide range of subjects from geography and religion to wildlife and ancient history. She has writtten many titles on ancient civilizations, including Ancient Egypt. Currently, she is working on the best-selling Horrible Geography series for Scholastic Publishing, the first three titles of which won a prestigious Silver Medal from the Geographical Association.
