After Art School she became an Associate of the Western Australian Institue of Design and Technology. She has won numerous awards, amongst which \'Australian Book of the Year\', and has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway medal.Emma Damon trained at Manchester Art School, where she gained a first class honours degree, followed by a MA.
