Author Biography
ABULFAZAL M. FAZLE KABIR is not only a distinguished librarian but a real teacher of library science. For writing the book, he collected the material not only in Dacca and Calcutta but also in England, drawing upon the resources of several libraries in England also their librarians! The author has really done a tremendous amount of labour. He has looked into both primary and secondary materials, including original Government proceedings, letters, newspaper files, government reports, documents, all that was available in the India Office Library, the Royal Commonwealth Society Library, the British Library, the Lambeth Palace archives, the Bodleian Library, Oxford, Indiana University, Graduate Library School and many others.
