    Tom Engelhardt created and runs the website Tomdispatch.com, a project of The Nation Institute, where he is a Fellow. He is the author of a highly praised history of American triumphalism in the Cold War, The End of Victory Culture. Each spring he is a Teaching Fellow at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. He lives in New York City.Noam Chomsky is a pioneering figure in linguistics, a professor emeritus at MIT and a leading critic of US foreign policy. The author of over forty books, Chomsky was interviewed for New Left Review in 1969, the same year that his American Power and the New Mandarins was published.Mark Danner is the author of The Massacre of El Mozote: A Parable of the Cold War.Mike Davis is the author of several books including City of Quartz, Ecology of Fear, Late Victorian Holocausts, and Magical Urbanism. He was recently awarded a MacArthur Fellowship. He lives in Papa'aloa, Hawaii.Greg Grandin is the author of Empirex2019;s Workshop, The Last Colonial Massacre, Who is Rigoberta MenchxFA;?, the award-winning The Blood of Guatemala, and the 2009 National Book Awards finalist Fordlandia.
