Out of the above 3 papers, Paper I: Teaching and Research Aptitude is compulsory to attempt for all of the candidates who are going to appear in NET test in any subject. This paper is objective (Multiple Choice) type, which has 50 compulsory questions. About The Author C. Lal is known in the field of Library and Information Science as Documentalist. He is M.A. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (formerly Agra University) and M.Lib. Sc. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He has taught library science for several years. Name of K. Kumar has become popular due to his contributions as co-author of many popular books on various facets of library and information science. He has been a genius throughout his academic career. He passed his M.Com. and M.Lib. Sc. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. He got first positions in his B.Lib.Sc. and M.Lib. Sc. examinations in the university. In 2001, he was awarded Ph.D. in Library Science by the University.
