Adapt to climate change will entail adjustments and changes at every level-from community to national and international. Communities must build their resilience, including adopting appropriate technologies while making the most of traditional knowledge, and diversifying their livelihoods to cope with current and future climate stress. Empirical evidence from the past two centuries suggests that economic growth, human wellbeing and a clean environment to hand-in-hand. Increased wealth is associated with improvements in nearly every aspect of human well-being and environmental quality. The right to an adequate environment or, as it is termed in some texts, a satisfactory environment, is one of the so-called third-generation or solidarity rights. As the book addresses this crucial issue quite deftly, it is hoped that it would prove to be a source of great information for the reader. It is expected that the book would serve the interests of the students as a source of information for understanding and appreciating the finer aspects of Climate Change and Human Rights Issues. About the Author B.K.P. Singh at present Sr. Asst.Professor, Deptt of Zoology, B.R. Ambedkar University, obtained his all higher qualifications B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Gold Medalist, Zoology) and Ph.D from Patna University. He possesses a prolong teaching experience and has published a number of articles to enumerate in Times of India, Express Bureau etc. He did authorship for five books prior to this publication.
