This new edition features increased coverage of integrated circuit fabrication techniques and layout issues, especially in VLSI design. It also includes increased discussion of microprocessors and operational amplifiers. Key Features: The present edition is designed to prepare the student to use the new techniques effectively. It is intended as a beginning text in electronic circuits for upper-sophomore or junior-level engineering and physics students. This third edition is based on the same philosophy of teaching as the other two: practical circuit design seldom makes direct use of device physics: instead, it uses terminal properties. The prime objective of this text is to provide insight into the analysis and design of electronic circuits.
Author Biography
: Donald Schilling Donald L. Shilling is the Herbert G. Kayser Distinguished proffesor of Electrical Engineering at the city Colledge of the City University of New York where he has been a professor since 1969.Proffessor Shilling has taught Electrical Engineering since 1956,more than32 years.
