Dr. Birendra Kumar is Professor of Agricultural Communication at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (U.P.). He has taught UG and PG courses in Extension Education for past two decades at Rajendra Agricultural University, Samastipur (Bihar) and G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, (U.P.) and was rated as an excellent teacher. He has co-ordinated training and extension activities at the grassroot level in West Bengal and Bihar. He has been associated as resource person for national and international training for extension personnel in communication for past eleven years. He has co-authored a book Training Methodology for Human Resource Development and published nearly 50 research and professional review papers. Dr. B.S. Hansra, Assistant Director General (Agri. Extn.) at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi had been Professor and Head; Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana (Punjab). He taught UG and PG courses in extension education at P.A.U., Ludhiana for more than two decades and guided extension. programmes of the University. He has authored ten books and more than 180 research and popular papers. He has been awarded National Fellow Award during 1995 by the Indian Society of Extension Education. He is closely associated with many national and international professional societies.
