Sixty role play activities - suitable for use on a wide range of management skills courses - are contained in this training resource. Part One provides the trainer with background information on how and when to use run role play activities. Topics include: Who should use role play and what experience is necessary Making role plays successful Handling the review, feedback and debriefing stages Selecting and briefing participants. Part two comprises 60 different role plays each lasting between one and a half to three hours. The activities are grouped into their subject areas: negotiation, appraisal, discipline, grievance, managing poor performance, and delegation. The last chapter contains 20 five-minute role plays which can be integrated easily into any training programme.
