Author Biography
s Carol Turkington is a medical writer and editorial consultant. She has contributed articles to Psychology Today, Parents Magazine, Current Health, Geriatrics, The Scientist and Pediatric Management, among other publications, and is the author of numerous books on human health, including, Encyclopedia of Fertility and Infertility, Encyclopedia of Deafness and Hearing Disorders and Encyclopedia of the Brain and Brain Disorders. She lives in Pennsylvania. Jeffrey S. Dover, M.D., F.R.C.P.C., is clinical associate professor in the Department of Dermatology, Section of Dermatologic Surgery, at Yale University School of Medicine. He is also an adjunct professor of medicine (dermatology) at Dartmouth Medical School and director of SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
