Author Biography
Jacine wife, mother, author, and certified yoga instructor discovered yoga five years ago and she hasn?t been the same since. Her profound connection with Yoga is illustrated throughout the pages of her book The Beauty of Yoga. A fatal car accident led Harrington to Yoga and down the path of self-discovery. Jacine and her family were involved in a head on collusion when a car travelling in the opposite direction turned into their path. Jacine?s family escaped injury, but the driver and passenger of the other car were killed. She suffered from whiplash and severe pain in her neck and upper back. It was this event that helped mold the mother of three children into becoming a certified yoga instructor and author she is today. In the course of Jacine?s research, she found that most books on yoga touched on the subject of chakras, but none combined chakra work with yoga postures. Jacine, familiar with chakras was convinced that chakra yoga was responsible for improving her overall life, emotionally, physically, and mentally, and then made the decision to write The Beauty of Yoga.
