Author Biography
Nisha Varma is a trained yoga teacher and has been successfully teaching yoga for the past fifteen years. Deeply involved with promoting meditation and yoga as part of wellness and stress management programmes, she is frequently sought after by corporate houses to conduct workshops. Her expertise lies in therapeutic yoga, a field she has been formally trained in, with two gurus. A Reebok University Master Trainer, she takes regular classes in yoga, aerobics, stability ball, core training, pilates and weight training. She used to write a column for The Hindustan Times, and continues to contribute articles to leading newspapers, magazines and an internet site, and has several TV shows to her credit. She is on the advisory panel and a columnist of Prevention Magazine, India edition. Nisha is a certified 'Health and Fitness Instructor' from the American College of Sports Medicine, USA and a certified Aqua Aerobics instructor from Federation Internationale des Sports et Fitness, Singapore. Her greatest strength is her combined knowledge and practice of both, yoga and aerobics, and her ability to teach therapeutic yoga accordingly
